Blanket Texture Stripe is inspired by Navajo Chiefs Blankets found in Sedona Arizona. The above sample was knitted by Marianne in Denmark using size 7 needles and NuMei Cotton Chenille- Belmont color Vanilla.

Supplies:
1 Skein
Peaches & Creme™ Knitting worsted yarn in solid or painted
1 pair 7 (US) single and double point needles
Tapestry Needle or crochet hook

Cast on:
Large Cloth: 48 stitches

Moss Stitch border for 1 inch, then start pattern.
B4= Border 4 stitches first and last each row.

Repeat rows 7-19 three times. End with Rows 2-4 the eyelet rope, then Moss stitch border for 1" Bind off.

Back Scrubber: 23 stitches
Small Cloth: 31 stitches
Large Cloth: 39 stitches

Moss Stitch border for 1 inch, then start pattern.
B4= Border 4 stitches first and last each row.

Pattern:
pattern is x8+7

Row 1( RS) : B4, k3,*p1,k3*,B4.
Row 2: B4, p3,*k1,p3*,B4.
Row 3: B4,k2,p1,k1,*(p1,k2,)x2,p1,k1*p1,k2,B4.
Row 4: B4,p2,k1,p1,*(k1,p2,)x2,k1,p1,*k1p2,B4.
Row 5: B4, k1,*p1,k1*,B4.
Row 6: B4,p1,*k1,p1*,B4.
Row 7: B4, k2,p1,k1,*(p1,k2,)x2,p1,k1*p1,k2,B4.

Repeat these 10 rows till a border distance from desired length. Knit border of moss stitch 1 inch, finish.
