Moss Stitch border for 1 inch, then start pattern.
B4= Border 4 stitches first and last each row.
Row 1: B4, k4,*p2,k4*,B4.
Row 2: B4, p4,*k2,p4*,B4.
Row 3: B4, k4,*p2,k4*,B4.
Row 4: B4, p4,*k2,p4*,B4.
Row 5: B4,p1,k2,*p4,k2*p1,B4.
Row 6: B4,k1,p2,*k4,p2*,k1,B4.
Row7: B4,p1,k2,*p4,k2*p1,B4.
Row 8: B4,k1,p2,*k4,p2*,k1,B4.
Row 9: B4,purl,B4.
Row 10: B$, knit, B4.

Repeat these 10 rows till a border distance from desired length. Knit border of moss stitch 1 inch, finish.
