Mon Tricot 900 stitch patterns - Lozenge Stitch III pg 59
x10 stitches

Note: selvege stitch (sl1) is used in begining of pattern on 15th row.
m1= make one by taking thread over or around needle.
wrn- wool round needle
Border Moss Stitch or Garter 7 rows
B= Border 4 stitches at each end of cloth

1 Skein Peaches & Creme™Knitting Worsted yarn in ombre or solid
Size 7 (US) single and double point needles
Tapestry Needle or crochet hook

Cast on:
Back scrubber: 18 stitches
Small Cloth: 28 stitches
Large Cloth: 38 stitches


Row 1: (right side) B4, *Wrn to make 1, sl 1, k1, psso, k5, k2tog, m1, k1* B4.
Row 2: B4, Purl, B4.
Row 3: B4,*k1, m1, sl1, k1, psso, k3, k2tog, m1, k2* B4.
Row 4: B4, Purl, B4.
Row 5: B4, k2, m1, sl1, k1, psso, k1, k2tog, m1, k3*, B4.
Row 6: B4, Purl, B4.
Row 7: B4, *k3, m1, sl1, k2tog, psso, m1, k4*, B4.
Row 8: B4, Purl, B4.
Row 9: B4, *k2, k2tog, m1, k1, m1,sl1, k1, psso, k3*, B4.
Row 10: B4, Purl, B4.
Row 11: B4, *k1, k2tog, m1, k3, m1, sl1, k1, psso, k2*, B4.
Row 12: B4, Purl, B4.
Row 13: B4, *k2tog, m1, k5, m1, sl1, k1, psso, k1* B4.
Row 14: B4, Purl, B4.
Row 15: B4, sl1 ,*m1, k7, m1, sl1, k2tog, psso*, end row with sl1, k1, psso, B4.
Row 16: B4, k2tog,purl, k2tog,B4.
Repeat these rows till a border distance away from desired length. Knit
border and bind off.

Back Scrubber:
Knit pattern till 14-19" then knit border. Knit all but three stitches, slide onto double
point needles and knit I-cord for 9" bind off and sew to other side for handle.
Knit another I-cord for 9" sew for handle at cast on edge.
