Baby Chubby Checkers Cloth and Mug Rug
x4 stitches
B4= border stitches
B= garter or moss stitch for 7 rows then start pattern.
CO: 40 for cloth and 28 for mug rug
Pattern:
Row1: B4,k2,p2*, B4.
Row 2: B4, work each stitch as it appears on this side of the work ( k the k sts and p the p sts),B4.
Row 3: B4,*p2,k2*, B4.
Row 4: B4, work each stitch as it appears on this side of the work ( k the k sts and p the p sts),B4.

Repeat these 4 rows till one border distance from finished length. Knit border, bind off and finish.
