Knit by Marianne in Denmark using Anchor MagicLine and size 7 (US) needles.
This cloth has been the most requested for it was a monthly cloth on DRU and given in exchanges.


Carlsbad Flower Fields Cloth

Supplies:
1 Skein Peaches & Cream knitting worsted in ombre or solids
1 Pair size 7 (US) single and double point needles
Tapestry needle or crochet hook

Cast On:
Back Scrubber:18 stitches
Small Cloth:28 stitches
Large Cloth: 38 stitches

B: 4 stitches each end, garter or moss stitch
Border 4-5 rows then begin pattern.

Pattern:
x2 stitches
Row 1: (right side) B4, *knit*, B4
Row 2: B4, P1,*k2tog* to last 5 stitches, P1, B4.
Row 3: B4, K1,*Knit into front and back of next st* to last 5 stitches, K1, B4.
Row 4: B4, *Purl*, B4.
Repeat these 4 rows till a border distance from end.

Border 4-5 rows and bind off.

NOTE: Made this in varigated EP pinks and purples and the EP Lemonade -- nicesimple texture that reminds me of flower borders -- Carlsbad Flower Fields-- without being too boring to make.- Diane P Canada
