Chinese Jade Lace

Swirl pattern of leaves which remind me of the hanging jade at The
President's House at Punahou School Honolulu, Hawaii. We stayed in the
house for a year or so while Dr. Fox was on sabbatical.

Supplies:
1 Skein Peaches & Creme™ Knitting Worsted
1 Pair size 7 (US) single point needles
1 Pair size 7 (US) double point needles
Tapestry needle
Scissors

Cast on:
Back Scrubber: 27 stitches
Small Cloth: 27 stitches with B2 on each side
Medium Cloth: 33 stitches
Large cloth: 40 or 49 stitches

Knit 1" of border, then begin pattern.

These 24 rows make up the pattern. Knit till 1 border distance away from
desired length. Knit Border, bind off and weave in ends.

For Back scrubber:
CO: 27 stitches

Knit 1" of border and start pattern.

Note: B2= Border 2stitches each end.

Knit till 16-19" then knit border. Bind off all but 3 stitches, knit I
cord for 9" bind off and sew for handle. Knit a second I-cord for 9" for
cast on edge handle.
