Knit by Marianne in Denmark using suze 7 (US) needles and Bernat Handicrafter: Lavender Ice
Note: this cloth was knit without the p1/k1 in the beginning and end of row.

Mad Dash Cloth Ensemble
Another cloth good for ombres, varigated and patterned yarn. The texture breaks up these yarns and shows off the "dashes" well.Lengthen this cloth for a handtowel or dishtowel, the texture is great for drying dishes!
Supplies:
1 Skein Peaches & Creme™ Knitting worsted yarn in varigated
1 Pair of size 7 (US) single and double point needles
Tapestry Needle or crochet hook
Co:
Back Scrubber:19 stitches
Small Cloth: 29 stitches
Large Cloth: 39 stitches
B4= border 4 stitches moss or garter
Knit 1" of border then proceed with pattern.
Pattern:
x2+1
Row 1: (rs) B4,k1 through back loop*B4.
Row 2: B4,p1,*k1 through back loop, k1*B4.
Row 3: B4,p1,*k1 through back loop,p1*B4.
Row 4: B4,p1,*k1 through back loop, k1*B4.
Row 5: B4,k1 through back loop*B4.
Row 6: B4,p1 through back loop,*k1,p1 through back loop*,B4.
Row 7: B4, k1 through back loop,*p1,k1through back loop*,B4.
Row 8 B4,p1 through back loop,*k1,p1 through back loop*,B4.
Repeat these 8 rows till a border distance away from desired length. Knit border, bind off and finish.
Back Scrubber:
Knit 14-19" of pattern, knit border. Bind off all but 3 stitches, slide stitches onto double point needles and knit I-cord for 9", sew to opposite side. Make another 9" I-cord and sew for handle at the cast on edge
