Nubby Flame Stitch Ensemble

Supplies:
1 Skein Peaches & Creme™ Knitting worsted yarn
1 Pair Size 7 (US) single point needles
1 Pair Size 7 (US) double point needles
Tapestry needle
Scissors

Cast On:
Back Scrubber: 22 stitches
Small Cloth: 26 stitches
Medium Cloth: 34 stitches
Large Cloth: 42 or 46 stitches

Abbreviations:
C2F: Knit into the front of the second stitch then into the first stitch,
slip both off the needle at the same time. Also known as Cross 2 Front.


Knit border for 1 inch, then begin pattern.

Pattern:
x4 + 2
Row 1(RS): B4,k2,*p2,k2*B4.
Row 2: B4,p2,*k2,p2*,B4.
Row 3: B4,k2,*p2,c2f* end p2,k2,B4.
Row 4: B4,p2,*k2,p2*,B4.
Row 5: B4,p2,*k2,p2*,B4.
Row 6: B4,k2,*p2,k2*B4.
Row 7: B4,p2,*c2f,p2*,B4.
Row 8: B4,k2,*p2,k2*B4.

Pattern consists of 8 rows. Knit till 1 border distance away from
desired length. Knit Border, bind off and weave in ends.

For Back scrubber:
CO: 22 stitches

Knit 1" of border and start pattern.

Knit till 16-19" then knit border. Bind off all but 3 stitches, knit I
cord for 9"
bind off and sew for handle. Knit a second I-cord for 9" for cast on edge
handle.
