Panini o Kapunahou or the Nite Blooming Cereus Cloth

Reminds me of the flowers that bloom along the stone walls of Punahou
School. my school in Honolulu. In 1836 Mrs. Bingham planted the
night-blooming cereus hedge, the famed cacti known in Hawai`i as panini o
kapunahou. Its exotic blossoms still bloom on the Punahou walls during the
summer.
Pattern is a panel of 15 stitches.
Supplies:
1 skein Peaches & Creme™ Article 930 Knitting Worsted ( solid or variegated)
1 Pair size 7-9 (US) single point needles
1 Pair size 7-9 (US) double point needles
Tapestry needles or crochet hook
Scissors
Cast on 38
p2tog-b= turn the work over slightly and insert the needle from the left hand
side into the back loops of the second and the first stitches in that order,
then wrap the yarn around the needle in front to complete the purl stitch.
B4= border at the begining and end of each row.
Border 7 rows either garter or moss stitch then begin pattern.
Pattern:
Row 1 (right side): B4, *k5, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, ssk, k5*, B4.
Row 2: B4, *p4, p2tog-b, yo, p3, yo, p2tog, p4*, B4.
Row 3: B4, *k3, k2tog, yo, k5, yo, ssk, k3*, B4.
Row 4: B4, *p2, p2tog-b, yo, p1, yo, p2tog, p1, p2tog-b, yo, p1, yo, p2tog, p2*, B4.
Row 5: B4, *k1, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, k3tog, yo, k3, yo, ssk, k1*, B4.
Row 6: B4, *p2, yo, p5, yo, p1, yo, p5, yo, p2 *, B4
(note: pattern just increased from 15 to 19 stitches per panel)
Row 7: B4, *(k3, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo) x2, k3*, B4.
Row 8: B4, *p4, p3tog, yo, p5, yo, p3tog, p4*, B4
(note:pattern is now 17 stitches from 19 stitches per panel)
Row 9: B4, *k6, to, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo, k6*, B4.
Row 10: B4.*p3, p2tog-b, p2, yo, p3tog, yo, p2, p2tog, p3*, B4
(note: pattern is now 15 stitches from 17 stitches per panel)
Repeat these 10 rows till a border distance away from desired length.
Knit border and bind off.
