Pattern is x 8+4 stitches.
Several variations of a vine pattern.
Supplies:
1 Skein Peaches & Creme™ Knittiing Worsted yarn
1 Pair size 7-9 (US) single point needles
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
B4= Border stitches at begining and end of each row, can be moss or garter stitch.
k1-b= knit one stitch through its back loop, inserting the needle into the stitch from
the right hand side.
p2tog-b= turn the work over slightly and insert the needlefrom the left hand side into
the back loops of the second and the first stitches in that order, then wrap the yarn
around the needle in front to complete the purl stitch.
NOTE: on all right side rows one extra stitch is added to each pattern repeat, and on
all wrong side rows the extra stitch is taken off.
Cast on 36 stitches.
Knit border for 7 rows and start pattern.
Pattern:
Row 1 (right side ): B4, k2, *yo, k1-b, yo, ssk, k5* end with k2, B4.
Row 2: B4, p6, *p2tog-b, p7* end with p5, B4.
Row 3: B4, k2, *yo,k1-b, yo, k2, ssk, k3*,end with k2, B4.
Row 4: B4, p4, *p2tog-b, p7*, B4.
Row 5: B4, k2, *k1-b, yo, k4, ssk, k1, yo* end with k2, B4.
Row 6: B4, p3, *p2tog-b, p7*, end with p1, B4.
Row 7: B4, k2, *k5,k2tog,yo,k1-b,yo, end with k2, B4.
Row 8: B4, p5, *p2tog, p7* end with p6, B4.
Row 9: B4, k2, *k3, k2tog, k2, yo, k1-b, yo* end with k2, B4.
Row 10: B4, *p7, p2tog* end with p4,B4.
Row 11: B4, k2, *yo,k1,k2tog,k4,yo,k1-b*end with k2,B4.
Row 12: B4, p1, *p7, p2tog* end with p3, B4.
Repeat these 12 rows till a border distance away from desired length.
Knit border and bind off.
