Prior to ending border, stockinette 5 rows, then border of Garter Stitch or
Moss Stitch of 1 inch. Bind off.

My cloths are done with 2 repeats of the pattern and end up being 9x9" or
10x10" depending on needle size. This cloth looks like 4 tulip beds in a
garden if done with 2 repeats. It is a fun eyelet pattern to do, I have been
doing this cloth for years to give out with soaps for Spring Days or Easter.
It is best done in solid yarn or the " painted ombres" like Sugar and
Cream's Potpourri Ombre. Hope it is a cloth that you enjoy making and giving.
